Tired of the same restaurants? Check out these new eateries for exciting flavors.

Our marketing director is a huge foodie and wanted to let you know about some great new restaurants to try this summer!  Please note, all of these places are super casual yet feature some of the best food we’ve had in a while.

Dudley Market, Venice

Voted one of the 15 hottest restaurants in LA by EaterLA, this farm-to-table seafood restaurant features a “baller” wine list at affordable prices! Unlike other popular Venice eateries, this delightful cafe feels more like home and is filled (not packed) with locals.  While the wine is already cheap, the entire list (except Burgundy’s!) is half off on Mondays.

Wallflower, Abbot Kinney, Venice

If you’re like me and so tired of Italian, American, and even sushi, get excited to feast at Wallflower.  Indonesian flavors are the feature at this dark, casual eatery on Abbot Kinney.  If you’ve eaten at MTN (from the chef of Gjelina), this is kind of the same culinary adventure down a road we don’t often get to travel.  Don’t be scared to ask what everything is on the menu, which is very vegan and gluten-free friendly. Their craft cocktails are also quite impressive, and I loved that they have Singha (a Thai beer that happens to be one of my favorite brews on the planet) in a bottle.

The Exchange Restaurant, DTLA

It’s not often we get Downtown, but should you be in the neighborhood and don’t want to make a reservation, slip into The Freehand hotel for a meal at The Exchange.  This is another adventurous recommendation for you to enjoy California fare with an Israeli twist.  The cauliflower and fried rice are an absolute must!  Also, the hip hotel features a lively roof deck, The Broken Shaker, with an amazing view.

Ingo’s Tasty Diner, Santa Monica

This dark diner (from the owners of The Misfit) isn’t new on the block, but they have some exciting new features I thought you would enjoy.  Every night from 3-7pm the entire bar -which features Pappy Van Winkle, 1942 to name a few –  is 50% off.  So enjoy two cocktails with one of the best burgers on the westside.  Both the beef and veggie burgers are to die for.  Also, Saturdays, if you’re out past your bedtime, they’re hosting live music 10pm-1am.
